Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM or 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19.04–$19.44 per hour

Position Overview

Spectrum Support Services has partnered with a school in Burlington County that is seeking full-time Paraprofessionals to join their team.

The school serves students ages 12 to 21 and provides a supportive educational environment focused on helping students develop academically, socially, and independently.

Paraprofessionals will work closely with teachers and school staff to provide individualized support to students throughout the school day.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support and supervision to students in the classroom and throughout the school day.

Assist students with academic, behavioral, social, and daily living needs as directed by teaching staff.

Support students in following classroom routines and individualized education plans.

Assist teachers with classroom activities and student programming.

Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.

Communicate effectively with teachers, school staff, and other members of the student support team.

Provide transportation support for students when assigned to the 7:00 AM–3:00 PM schedule.

Safely transport students to school using a school-provided vehicle.

Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when working with students and families.

Schedule Options

8:00 AM–3:00 PM:
Staff report directly to the school and provide support throughout the school day.

7:00 AM–3:00 PM:
Staff begin the day by picking up students and transporting them to school using a school-provided vehicle, followed by providing support during the school day.

Qualifications & Onboarding Requirements

Valid driver's license with fewer than 5 points.

Successful Motor Vehicle Check.

Fingerprinting/background clearance.

Two professional references.

Previous experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, or in a school setting is preferred.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Reliable, patient, compassionate, and professional.
