Position Summary
AutoKnowMe is seeking an energetic, creative, and community-focused Campus Ambassador & Community Growth Intern to help introduce our skill-based strategy card game and digital tournament platform to college students and the Jacksonville community.
The intern will serve as an on-campus representative, helping recruit players, promote game nights and tournaments, create social-media content, build campus partnerships, and convert community interest into registered and returning players.
This is a hands-on opportunity for a student interested in startup growth, gaming, esports, marketing, events, content creation, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and represent the AutoKnowMe game, brand, rules, and player experience.
- Recruit students for game demonstrations, events, registrations, and tournaments.
- Promote AutoKnowMe through student organizations, esports programs, residence halls, campus networks, and social media.
- Help coordinate and host game nights, demonstrations, pop-up events, and tournaments.
- Create short-form social-media content and capture photos, interviews, testimonials, and event footage.
- Welcome new players and explain registration, gameplay, and tournament participation.
- Build relationships with student organizations, faculty, businesses, and community partners.
- Track outreach, registrations, event attendance, referrals, and returning-player participation.
- Collect player feedback and report recurring questions or technical concerns.
- Participate in weekly team check-ins and follow company brand, confidentiality, and intellectual-property guidelines.

- Verified player registrations and event attendance
- Returning-player and referral activity
- Social-media content, reach, and engagement
- Campus and community partnerships developed
- Accuracy and consistency of weekly reporting
Performance bonuses may be available for reaching defined registration, attendance, retention, content, or partnership milestones.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a student who is:
- Friendly, dependable, energetic, and comfortable meeting new people
- Interested in gaming, esports, entrepreneurship, marketing, or community engagement
- Comfortable creating or appearing in social-media content
- Able to communicate instructions clearly and confidently
- Organized and capable of tracking outreach and results
- Available for occasional evening or weekend events
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving startup environment
- Willing to learn, receive feedback, and represent the AutoKnowMe brand professionally
Prior experience in ambassador programs, marketing, sales, events, gaming, or content creation is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.
Students studying marketing, communications, business, entrepreneurship, sports or event management, hospitality, game design, esports, psychology, sociology, education, or media production are encouraged to apply. Students from other majors with strong communication, leadership, creativity, or community-building skills are also welcome.
