Summary
Phreeli is a Privacy By Design Wireless Carrier building a brand that actually looks and feels different from the rest of the telecom world. The Design Intern plays a hands-on role in translating our brand vision into compelling visual work across digital touchpoints — social, web, and brand. You'll partner closely with the creative team to execute design that supports marketing, brand storytelling, and the growth of phreeli.com.
This role balances creative concepting with real execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about helping build a visually distinctive brand from the inside.
Responsibilities
Creative Execution & Design
- Design and produce visual assets across digital touchpoints: social, website, email, and paid media
- Create graphics for brand, campaigns, decks, and internal/external collaboration assets
- Translate creative briefs and brand direction into effective design solutions
- Ensure all deliverables align with Phreeli's brand guidelines and design system
- Prepare production-ready files for handoff to the team and external partners
Campaign & Brand Development
- Support the development and rollout of product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand storytelling initiatives
- Contribute to concept development, mood boards, and visual identity exploration
- Help maintain a cohesive visual language across everything Phreeli ships
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, social and engineering to create performance-driven design assets
- Collaborate with the web team on layouts, graphics, and visual components for phreeli.com
- Take direction from creative leadership and iterate quickly on feedback
Brand Integrity & Innovation
- Maintain consistency across all visual touchpoints
- Stay current on design, social, and cultural trends
- Bring fresh ideas that elevate creative output and brand differentiation
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite — specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Strong working knowledge of Figma
- A portfolio (or coursework samples) demonstrating clean layout systems, thoughtful typography, and visual storytelling
- Attention to detail: precision across all deliverables and within an established design system
- Communication: clear, proactive collaboration with the team
- Adaptability: thrives in a fast-moving, evolving environment
- Ownership: proactive, accountable, and solutions-oriented
Bonus Points
- Adobe Premiere and video editing skills
- UX/UI design experience or coursework
- Motion graphics or After Effects experience
- Interest in tech, telecom, or privacy-focused brands
- AI competency
