Social Media Coordinator

Real Womb Recordings (RWR), a growing prenatal and postpartum keepsake brand under Mary & Nancy LLC, is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to help grow our Instagram presence and support our upcoming brand launch.

About us:

RWR creates professionally engineered womb sound recordings — heartbeat, placental blood flow, and voice — as meaningful keepsakes and newborn soothing tools. We’re positioned as a science-backed, premium product for the “fourth trimester,” serving families across the DC/DMV area and a growing network of partner cities.

What you’ll do:

-Plan and execute a weekly Instagram content calendar (carousels, captions, Reels)

-Write educational captions covering topics like fetal nervous system development, newborn soothing, and the fourth trimester

-Support launch campaigns (e.g., our birth planning + recording session bundle promo)

-Track engagement and growth metrics, and suggest content adjustments

-Identify and support influencer/referral partner collaborations (doulas, photographers, sleep consultants)

-Develop and own a growth strategy for our Instagram account — following growth, engagement, and reach, not just content 

What we’re looking for:

• Experience growing an Instagram account — for a brand, small business, or your own strong personal portfolio

• Understanding of the Instagram algorithm and what drives reach/discoverability (Reels, trends, hashtags)

• Comfort with Canva or similar design tools (branded templates provided)

• Interest in maternal health, birth work, or wellness a plus

• Self-starter who can set goals and track progress independently

• Strong writing voice — warm, science-informed, emotionally resonant
