Legal Intern
Overview
The Legal Intern provides research, drafting, and administrative support across the firm's litigation and transactional matters, with a particular emphasis on legal research, e-filing, and general case support. The role also requires comfort with technology, including formatting documents and resolving compatibility issues across Word, Google Docs, and PDF.
Responsibilities
• Conduct legal research, including case law, statutes, and procedural rules
• Prepare and submit filings through the court's e-filing system
• Draft and format routine documents and correspondence
• Assist with calendaring deadlines and hearings
• Organize case files and records
• Troubleshoot document formatting and other technology issues as they come up
Skills & Qualifications
• Strong research skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable learning new software and online filing systems
• Solid working knowledge of Word and Google Docs; able to fix formatting issues independently
• Good written communication
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
