Student Worker, Information Center Support

Job Description
The Student Worker, Information Center is responsible for providing assistance to the Information Center team.

Responsibilities
* Schedule upgrades to Microsoft operating systems.
* Troubleshoot failed and missing Microsoft operating system updates and security patches.
* Investigate failed 3rd party security patches and updates.
* Document and share troubleshooting methods and solutions.
* Assist in delivery and setup of computer hardware at multiple Fort Smith, AR campus locations.
* Assist with minor computer support tasks.
* Assist in the process of salvaging computer equipment including documenting salvage items and placement in a shipping container.
* Assist in the process of receiving new and used equipment, including documenting items and transporting them to storage.
* Other duties and projects, as assigned.

Requirements
Education:
* Currently pursuing a college degree.

Experience:
* No prior experience necessary

Computer Skills:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, preferred

Other Details
Work Hours:
* This is a part-time position that will average fewer than 30 hours per week. Work hours generally fall between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.

* Minimal (0%-25%)

Compensation:
* This is an hourly position paid biweekly.
