Marketing And Engagement Coordinator

The Marketing and Engagement Coordinator provides day-to-day support across our client accounts, keeping projects moving between the agency’s content, design, video and digital marketing teams. This is a position focused on execution and coordination, offering the opportunity to build foundational skills across paid search, SEO, web, social and creative while working with clients in a wide range of industries.

Must work in the Tampa Florida office.  No REMOTE allowed.

Working from priorities set by the Chief Marketing Officer and assignments from the Creative Director, the Coordinator helps keep client websites, content calendars and marketing assets accurate and on schedule. Our department managers and content writers own their specialties; this role makes sure they have what they need, that assignments are clear, and that nothing falls through the cracks. This position maintains strict confidentiality in all client and agency matters and serves as a reliable, collaborative partner to colleagues across the team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following. Other duties may be requested and/or assigned. Essential functions are primary job duties that an individual must be able to perform successfully with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Client & Project Coordination

  • Support day-to-day coordination of multiple client accounts at once, tracking deliverables, due dates and approvals across PPC, SEO, Website, Social Media, Graphic Design and Video.
  • Route assignments to the appropriate department manager or content writer, follow up on status, and flag anything at risk of missing a deadline.
  • Maintain project documentation, timelines and task status in the agency’s project management system.
  • Prepare and organize materials for client meetings; take notes and track follow-up items to completion.

Content & Publishing

  • Publish blogs, landing pages, graphics and other content to client websites through their content management systems.
  • Coordinate content assignments with our writers — issue briefs, gather the client input and reference material they need, and track drafts through review and approval.
  • WordPress updates for clients as assigned
  • Copyedit and quality-check assigned content for accuracy, clarity, formatting, links and adherence to each client’s brand voice and style guide.

Social Media Coordination

  • Build and maintain monthly content calendars for assigned client accounts.
  • Schedule and publish posts across client social channels.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to routine activity, and route questions or issues to the right team member.
  • Coordinate and help execute social engagement efforts for clients and for the agency’s own channels.

Creative & Production Support

  • Work from assignments and priorities set by the Creative Director; route work into and out of the design queue, collect feedback and track revisions.
  • Gather source material — copy, images, logos, brand guidelines — so creative work isn’t held up waiting on assets.
  • Create basic graphics from established templates to support content and social efforts.
  • Assist with photo and video shoots on client sites and in studio, including setup, capturing basic photography and b-roll, and logging footage.
  • Travel to client offices and job sites as assigned for check-ins, content capture and shoots.

Reporting & Asset Management

  • Follow established processes to gather web and social engagement metrics for monthly client reporting.
  • Maintain the agency’s marketing asset and reference libraries, including stock imagery, design templates, brand and style guides, best practices and training materials.
  • Keep client files, photo and video assets, and shared drive structure organized under consistent naming conventions.
  • Track subscription and technology renewals, marketing deadlines, and project documentation to help keep the team organized.
  • Draft and maintain process documentation as directed — for example, documenting the steps for onboarding a new client’s website content.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in field around digital marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Zero to two years of professional or internship experience in marketing, communications, or a comparable environment; agency experience is a plus.
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills, with attention to grammar, style and brand voice.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to track deadlines across several client accounts at once, manage marketing calendars, and maintain organized project documentation.
  • Ability to prioritize competing requests and meet deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment where client needs shift.
  • Takes direction well — comfortable working from another person’s creative vision and incorporating feedback without friction.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and follow up professionally with clients and colleagues.
