Youth Soccer Coach

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Youth Soccer Coach to lead one or more of our youth teams. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the game, a proven ability to teach fundamental and advanced soccer concepts, and a talent for communicating effectively with children and parents. You will be responsible for planning and executing training sessions, managing game-day operations, and serving as a positive role model for our athletes.

Key Responsibilities

On-Field Coaching & Player Development:

Design and run age-appropriate, engaging, and high-intensity training sessions that focus on technical mastery, tactical awareness, and physical conditioning.

Evaluate individual player abilities and provide constructive, encouraging fCultivate a culture of good sportsmanship, resilience, and teamwork among players.

Administration & Communication:

Communicate proactively and professionally with parents regarding practice schedules, game logistics, tournament details, and player progress.

Maintain accurate team rosters, attendance records, and player evaluations.

Collaborate with the Director of Coaching to ensure training methodologies align with the club’s overarching curriculum and philosophy.

Attend all mandatory coaches' meetings, club events, and professional development sessions.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure the safety and well-being of all players during practices, games, and travel.

Inspect field conditions and equipment prior to sessions to ensure a safe playing environment.

Adhere to all club policies, league reedback to foster continuous improvement.

Cultivate a culture of good sportsmanship, resilience, and teamwork among players.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Minimum of [1-3] years of experience coaching youth soccer. Previous playing experience at Highschool or the collegiate  level is a strong plus.

Licensing: USSF [Grassroots / D-License / C-License] or equivalent highly preferred.

Clearances: Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and complete SafeSport training (or equivalent youth protection certification).

Skills: Exceptional leadership, patience, and communication skills. Ability to adapt coaching styles to different age groups and skill levels.

Availability: Must be available to work evenings and weekends for practices and matches.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, run, and demonstrate soccer techniques on the field for extended periods.

Ability to lift and carry coaching equipment (e.g., bags of balls, cones, portable goals) up to 25 lbs.
