PAID VIDEOGRAPHY INTERN

Film YouTube, short-form, and brand content in South Florida.

Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Position: Part-Time Internship

Starting Pay: $20–$25 per hour

Hours: 10–15 hours per week

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a creative and dependable college student to help film content for a growing marketing company and the founder's personal brand.

You will help plan and film YouTube videos, social media content, advertisements, client testimonials, and behind-the-scenes footage.

This position is focused entirely on planning and filming. You will not be responsible for editing the videos. Once filming is complete, you will organize and upload the raw footage for our editing team.

This is a great opportunity for a student studying film, videography, communications, marketing, or a related field who wants hands-on experience and professional work for their portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help plan upcoming content shoots
• Prepare simple shot lists and filming ideas
• Set up cameras, lighting, microphones, and other equipment
• Film long-form YouTube videos
• Film vertical content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Capture B-roll and behind-the-scenes footage
• Film occasional client content and testimonials
• Keep footage organized after each shoot
• Upload raw footage for our editing team
• Communicate clearly about shoot schedules and equipment needs

NECESSARY SKILLS

• Basic experience filming video content
• Good understanding of lighting, audio, framing, and camera angles
• Ability to film both horizontal and vertical content
• Creative eye for making videos look professional and engaging
• Comfortable providing ideas and helping plan shoots
• Organized when labeling and uploading footage
• Reliable transportation to filming locations
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Dependable, punctual, and open to feedback

PORTFOLIO NOTE

Experience with professional cameras is preferred but not required. Applicants should have examples of videos they have filmed, including personal projects, school assignments, or professional work.

SCHEDULE

This position requires approximately 10–15 hours per week.

The schedule will be flexible around college classes. However, the intern must be available for scheduled filming sessions in Fort Lauderdale and occasional client shoots throughout South Florida.

Mileage will be reimbursed for approved client shoots outside the normal filming location.

COMPENSATION

The starting pay is $25 per hour. We also cover mileage expenses as well.
