Advantages of Working with One Day In July
- The Magic Factory, our aptly named software development team, designs and builds a robust set of tools to support our financial advisors, investment desk, compliance team, and the firm’s marketing experts. As a member of a small but highly talented group, you will learn the importance of architecture decisions that are both economical and scalable for a fast-growing firm. You will see how computer science concepts translate to real-world scenarios. You will battle technical debt. And you will learn why smaller firms can outwit larger ones using speed of decision making in software as a key advantage.
- You'll work with the same tools our engineers use every day, including Python, Go, React, Postgres, DuckDB, pandas, and Redis. We leverage AI in our development practices, but we do not use it as a replacement for engineering judgment.
