Project Engineer – EIT
Location: Fargo, ND, Bismarck, ND or Hawley, MN
Lowry Engineering is now accepting applications for a Civil Engineering - EIT. Applicant may choose to work out of any of our three office locations (Bismarck, ND, Fargo, ND or Hawley, MN). This position will work under a licensed Civil Engineer to build the necessary skill set to become a successful design engineer and project manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in design components of Civil Engineering projects
- Prepare drawings, details, layouts, surveys, estimates, and construction documents
- Prepare engineering reports and construction specifications
- Assist in field operations as needed; this may include construction inspection, survey and other forms of field engineering
- Other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency or ability to learn Autodesk Civil 3D
- Applicable internship experience is preferred
- Must be capable of performing independently and learning quickly
- Some travel will be required
- Ability to speak and write English clearly
- Ability to conduct themselves in a professional manner
- Excellent oral and written commutation skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must pass the FE exam before start of employment
