We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Community Affairs Intern. This internship focuses on empowering college student groups to actively participate in community initiatives, facilitating cross-campus collaborations, and tracking the impact of outreach efforts. The intern will work closely with campus organizations, community partners, and administrative staff to strengthen community ties and promote social responsibility among students. 

This role is pivotal in developing, maintaining, and managing a comprehensive tracking system for the community's non-profits, volunteer opportunities, and the hours volunteered by staff, faculty, students, and student groups. The position will also oversee social media outreach for the Office of Career Development and Community Engagement.

The general requirements are:
1. that they are a full-time student at SMCM
2. at least a rising Sophomore
3. 2.97 GPA
4. Background in Social media/graphic design, desired
5. Prior involvement with volunteering is a must
6. Ability to multitask and to track multiple projects
7. Comfortable as a public speaker and presenter.
8. Self-motivated 
9. Creative problem-solving skills are a plus
