Litigation Paralegal
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
Job description:
Burke, Scolamiero & Hurd, LLP, a high-volume defense litigation firm based in Albany, NY, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team. We handle a broad range of personal injury matters, and our paralegals play a key role in all stages of case management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case prep from intake through trial
- Review, organize, and analyze medical records
- Coordinate depositions, discovery, and court filings
- Manage case load to meet deadlines
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients
- Work both independently and collaboratively with legal teams
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in litigation required (personal injury preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
