Brand & Social Storyteller - Pattern Content Team

Are you obsessed with data, partner success, taking action, and changing the game? If you have a whole lot of hustle and a touch of nerd, come work with Pattern! We want you to use your skills to push one of the fastest-growing companies in the US to the top of the list.

Pattern is the leader in global e-commerce and marketplace acceleration, headquartered in Utah's Silicon Slopes tech hub—with offices in Asia, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East. Hundreds of global brands — including Bosch, Nestlé, Stance, TUMI, and Panasonic — rely on the company’s e-commerce acceleration platform to grow their online sales on direct-to-consumer websites, online marketplaces, and other digital channels in more than 60 countries, all while managing fulfillment and logistics. With last year's revenue exceeding $1 Billion, Pattern has been named one of the fastest growing tech companies in North America by Deloitte and one of best-led companies by Inc. We place employee experience at the center of our business model and have been recognized as one of Newsweek’s Global Most Loved Workplaces®.

About the Role

We're looking for a Brand and Social Storyteller to be Pattern's boots-on-the-ground storyteller at trade shows, industry events, and brand activations. You'll be the face and voice behind our on the street content, traveling to shows twice a month, staying multiple days to fully capture the experience, and turning it into fast, scroll-stopping social content in real time.

This is a high-output, high-energy role. You'll conduct on-camera interviews, edit content same-day, and build the connective tissue between what happens on the show floor and how Pattern shows up on social media. Roughly half your time will be on the road, primarily shooting on phone with a smaller share on camera for higher-production moments.

Beyond event coverage, you'll help power Pattern's broader content engine. That means supporting the Totally SKU'd podcast and Unpacked with Chris Baird, jumping in on global initiatives as they come up, and working closely with the Content and Social team to make sure every event and every episode translates into content that drives brand awareness and product visibility.

What You'll Do

Event Coverage & On-Camera Interviews

  • Travel to industry shows and events roughly twice a month, staying multiple days to fully capture the experience (estimated 50% of time in travel)
  • Conduct "on the street" style interviews with brands, attendees, and industry folks
  • Bring broadcast-style interviewing skills to make every conversation feel natural and engaging

Content Creation & Turnaround

  • Shoot and edit content in real time using mobile-first tools like CapCut
  • Tag and feature around 10 brands a day across social content
  • Turn raw footage into polished, platform-ready posts same-day whenever possible
  • Post and manage content across social channels during and after events

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • You'll be collecting global content and be responsible to tell the Pattern Brand story across all social media channels
  • Work with the content team to ensure Amazon listings and product links are woven into on the street interview content
  • Coordinate with the social and content strategy team on messaging, brand priorities, and coverage goals for each event
  • Share learnings and content performance from each event to inform future coverage strategy
  • Support the Totally SKU'd podcast and Unpacked with Chris Baird as needed, plus other global content initiatives outside of event coverage

What Success Looks Like

  • On the street content consistently drives engagement and reach across social channels
  • Brand and product tags in event content lead to measurable traffic or awareness lift
  • Content turnaround is fast, with same-day or next-day posting from events
  • Interviews feel authentic and on-brand, reflecting well on Pattern and the brands featured
  • Event coverage builds a reliable, repeatable content engine show after show

What You Bring

  • Proven track record in social content creation or on-camera experience (required)
  • Strong instincts for fast-turnaround, mobile-first content creation
  • Comfortable traveling frequently and working long, active days at events
  • Experience with drone operation (or willingness to get certified)
  • Familiarity with CapCut or similar mobile editing apps
  • A natural on-camera presence and the ability to make strangers comfortable fast

How You'll Be Measured

  • Engagement and reach on on the street content (views, likes, shares, impressions)
  • Speed from filming to publish (turnaround time)
  • Brand and product traffic driven from featured content (CTR, link clicks)
  • Consistency of coverage across events (events covered per quarter, posting cadence)
