Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced veterinary team in Louisburg, KS. The ideal candidate will be achievement oriented, highly organized, and possess excellent communication skills to provide exceptional care to our animal patients and support to our veterinary staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and treatments.
- Perform laboratory tests, collect samples, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide post-operative care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding care instructions and follow-ups.
- Manage inventory and ensure medical supplies are stocked and organized.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Veterinary Technician or similar role.
- Achievement oriented with a strong commitment to quality care.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while staying organized.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding people skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong affinity for animals
- Team player
- Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous
- Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
- Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology preferred.
Schedule
- Full time employment is 30+ hrs. Monday through Friday 7:30a-5p, Every other Saturday (required) 7:30a-1:00p

Hourly rate: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
