 Nutrition Analyst: MS Bioanalytical (MSB), a Normec Group Company 

Purpose of the Role  

As a food nutrition analyst, you play a vital role in enabling business success of MSB. In a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, your work ensures testing and turnaround time toward building strong relationships with our customers. 

This role is to serve our customers for their testing needs in quality control testing and help them overcome technical challenges in method development and testing finished products ensuring compliance with cGMP regulations for dietary supplement industry. By dedicating and committing your knowledge and experience, we can work together to build a good reputable laboratory to support growth in a way that is service-oriented and indispensable.

You accept job assignments proactively and work with your colleagues to fulfill your service responsibility.   

Main Tasks & Responsibilities 

Perform tests of food and nutrition samples using established methods such as USP, EP, AOAC, AOCS, FCC and other compendium methods as well as our STMs. 

Analyze and deduce data including statistical analysis. 

Perform the Out of Specification (OOS) investigation. 

Involve in customer support related to the testing questions.  

Document and maintain study/test notebooks. 

Involve in test method development/validation. 

Knowledge & Skills 

Background in science and chemistry or a related field. 

1–3 years of experience in technical areas related to analytical testing for foods, dietary supplements and/or pharmaceuticals. 

Familiarity with LIMS. 

Familiarity with cGMP dietary supplement regulation. 

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

Confident in communicating directly with clients and providing updates or follow-ups. 

Professional, discrete, and dependable in handling commercial information.

Analytical Techniques: various chromatography techniques and wet chemistry techniques. 

Sample Preparation: familiarity with various sample preparation techniques. 

Data Deduction: Able to deduce data from various analyses. 

Statistical Analysis: Able to perform statistical analysis such as linearity and standard deviation etc. 

Time Management: to prioritize effectively and ensure that internal and external timelines are met. 

Collaboration: You work closely with Group Leader, Lab Director, Lab Manager to ensure proper test method used and achieving accurate results.. 

Problem-Solving: When aroused, able to solve technical problems either independently or under supervising.   

Service Mentality: You enjoy helping others succeed and understand the critical role you play in that success.
