Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate After School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment and promoting the academic, social, and emotional development of students. This role requires strong classroom management skills, creativity in lesson planning, and a commitment to nurturing each child's potential.
Duties
- Assist each student in completing their homework assignments
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to enhance student understanding of core subjects.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods as necessary to meet educational goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Paid on-the-job training provided!
Experience (Preferred but not needed)
- Proven experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, tutoring, or camp environments is highly desirable.
- Background in early childhood education or related fields
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and first aid certification is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds. We encourage individuals who are enthusiastic about teaching and committed to making a difference in the lives of children to apply.
