Part-time Sales Associate
Looking for a friendly sales associate to greet customers, process transactions, restock shelves and gift wrap products purchased.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for checkout, returns, and exchanges
- Manage stock levels through merchandising, stocking shelves, and organizing displays to attract attention
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when handling calls
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-first attitude are essential
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are valued for growth opportunities
- Must be able to gift wrap
This job is for part-time weekend retail help in a popular toy store in Tarrytown, NY. Please only apply if you are available to work Saturdays and Sundays through December.
