About the Role
Sky 3 Entertainment is an independent entertainment company based in Nashville, TN. We offer unpaid, remote internships with the option to receive academic credit. This role is ideal for students interested in gaining hands-on experience in artist management, social media, and music industry operations while working with a modern country artist.
This internship provides real-world exposure to artist promotion, digital marketing, and day-to-day management. Interns are treated as valued team members and are assigned meaningful projects based on skills, interests, and growth goals. Applicants outside the Nashville area are welcome, as this position is fully remote.
Choice to do one or both tracks:
Social Media / Marketing Intern Track
This track focuses on promotion, digital strategy, and audience growth.
Responsibilities may include
- Managing and supporting social media outreach on Facebook, Instagram, X, and other platforms
- Assisting with digital marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns
- Creating outreach communications for media, radio, blogs, and industry contacts
- Supporting fan engagement and street team coordination
- Assisting with content planning, posting, and analytics
- Maintaining organized records related to marketing efforts
Artist Management Intern Track
This track focuses on artist operations, communication, and day-to-day management support.
Responsibilities may include
- Coordinating communication between the artist, band members, staff, interns, and partners
- Assisting with artist management tasks as directed
- Contacting songwriters, venues, radio stations, and other music industry entities
- Supporting scheduling, planning, and administrative needs
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Updating shared documents using Google Docs and Google Sheets
- Assisting with special projects and operational tasks
General Qualifications
Applicants for either track should meet the following criteria
- Ability to commit 10 to 15 hours per week for a minimum of three months
- Availability 4 to 5 days per week for a minimum of 2 hours per day
- Reliable computer and internet access and availability for video calls, phone, and email
- Strong working knowledge of Google Docs and spreadsheets
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
- Experience with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, Spotify, and YouTube
- Adobe Photoshop experience is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility
Additional Notes
- This internship is unpaid. Academic credit may be available depending on your institution
- Interns located in the Nashville area who wish to assist at live shows must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Interns assisting at venues where alcohol is served must be 21 or older and may not consume alcohol while working
