Content Creator – Experiential Marketing & Multicultural Events
We’re looking for a highly creative, culturally fluent Content Creator to capture the energy, emotion, and storytelling moments behind experiential marketing events across Los Angeles.
This role is ideal for a visual storyteller who understands the diverse cultures, communities, music, food, fashion, art, and lifestyle that make Los Angeles unique. You’ll create compelling short-form video, photography, social content, and behind-the-scenes storytelling that connects brands with audiences in authentic and culturally relevant ways.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable brainstorming a creative concept, filming in the middle of a live event, interviewing attendees, jumping on a social trend, and turning raw footage into polished content that people want to share.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative concepts and content strategies for experiential marketing activations, pop-ups, festivals, cultural events, community events, and brand experiences.
- Capture high-quality photo and video content before, during, and after live events.
- Create engaging short-form content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other emerging social channels.
- Tell authentic stories that showcase attendees, artists, creators, brand ambassadors, partners, and community members.
- Create culturally relevant content for Hispanic/Latino audiences and Los Angeles' diverse multicultural communities.
- Work closely with creative directors, producers, event teams, social media managers, designers, and clients to bring campaigns to life.
- Conduct quick, engaging on-site interviews and attendee reactions.
- Identify organic moments, trends, sounds, conversations, and cultural touchpoints that can elevate event content.
- Edit video and photo content quickly, sometimes under tight event-day or next-day deadlines.
- Develop event recap videos, social reels, behind-the-scenes content, interviews, photo galleries, and campaign assets.
- Maintain an organized library of photo and video assets, including proper file naming and metadata.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines while maintaining an authentic, human voice.
- Stay current on social media trends, creator culture, music, entertainment, fashion, and cultural conversations relevant to Los Angeles.
- Occasionally travel throughout Los Angeles and Southern California for events, including evenings and weekends when required.
Applicants should provide a portfolio, reel, or social media examples demonstrating relevant work. Please include examples of:
- Event or experiential content
- Short-form social video
- Lifestyle or cultural storytelling
- Interviews or creator-led content
- Photography
- Bilingual or multicultural content, if applicable
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and portfolio.
