Licensed Therapist | Remote in Georgia | Flexible Schedule

About Mixed World Therapy

Mixed World Therapy is a culturally responsive therapy practice created to better serve mixed race, Multiracial, multiethnic, and multicultural individuals.

We believe people deserve access to therapists who understand that identity can be complex. Our goal is to create therapeutic spaces where clients can explore mental health, relationships, family, culture, identity, and belonging without feeling like they first have to explain or justify who they are.

We are building a network of thoughtful, compassionate therapists committed to providing high quality care while continuing to grow their understanding of race, culture, identity, and Multiracial experiences.

About the Role

We are seeking licensed therapists in Georgia to join our growing clinical team and provide virtual therapy to clients across the state.

Our clients may seek support for anxiety, depression, relationships, family dynamics, life transitions, identity, belonging, self esteem, stress, and many of the other challenges that bring people to therapy.

You do not need to specialize in Multiracial mental health or identify as Multiracial yourself. We are looking for excellent clinicians who demonstrate cultural humility, openness, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to learning.

What You'll Do
  • Provide virtual psychotherapy to clients located in Georgia
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Create an affirming environment for clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Complete Mixed World Therapy's specialized certification training
  • Maintain applicable professional, ethical, and licensure requirements
  • Set and maintain your availability for Mixed World Therapy clients
Who We're Looking For

Applicants should:

  • Hold an active, unrestricted independent Georgia license, such as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, or other applicable independent behavioral health license
  • Be eligible to provide telehealth services to clients in Georgia
  • Have experience providing psychotherapy to adults and/or adolescents
  • Demonstrate cultural humility and an interest in culturally responsive care
  • Be comfortable working with clients across racial, cultural, family, and identity backgrounds
  • Be committed to ethical, inclusive, client centered care
  • Be comfortable providing virtual therapy
  • Be open to continued learning and professional development

Experience working with mixed race, Multiracial, multiethnic, multicultural, immigrant, third culture, or identity related populations is welcomed, but not required.

Free Specialized Certification Training

You do not need to arrive at Mixed World Therapy as an expert in Multiracial mental health. We provide the specialized training.

Every therapist selected to join our clinical team receives access to the Mixed World Therapy certification training program completely free of charge.

The training strengthens clinicians' understanding of culturally responsive counseling with Multiracial clients and provides practical approaches that can be brought into the therapy room.

There is no cost to therapists for the training or certification.

Why Join Mixed World Therapy?

We aim to support our therapists with:

  • Free specialized certification training
  • Flexible remote scheduling
  • Client acquisition and marketing support
  • Billing and administrative support
  • Virtual client sessions
  • Continued learning and professional development
  • A practice built around culturally responsive care
  • The opportunity to join at an early stage and help shape a growing clinical community

Most importantly, we want our therapists to focus more of their time and energy on what they do best: providing excellent care to their clients.

You Don't Need to Know Everything on Day One

We are not looking for therapists who claim to have every answer about race, culture, or identity.

We are looking for clinicians who are curious, thoughtful, culturally humble, and willing to learn.

Mixed World Therapy provides specialized training and support. You bring your clinical expertise, perspective, and commitment to creating a therapeutic space where clients can feel understood and supported.

Compensation
