Physical Therapist - 1 to 1 Care + Mentorship With Founder + Full Time

We are a speciality physical therapy office with a focus on integrative physical therapy. Established for 13 years, we are one of the best clinics in the Bay Area and we get phenomenal results for our clients. We are not primarily insurance based therefore have freedom to put the client first. You will be making an amazing Impact here.

We are looking for a compassionate, present based and motivated human to join our awesome skilled team. 

New grads/PTLA welcome.

Every new clinician begins with our structured 90-Day Clinical Development & Mentorship Program, with continued mentorship throughout the first year and beyond.

You'll develop:

• Manual therapy skills
• Clinical reasoning & decision-making
• Movement analysis
• Integrative treatment strategies
• Confidence treating increasingly complex patients

Mentorship happens alongside patient care. You'll discuss cases, observe clinical decision-making, receive regular feedback, refine your hands-on skills, and learn to look beyond symptoms to understand the factors contributing to pain and recovery.

Our goal isn't simply to help you succeed during your first 90 days. It's to help you build the clinical judgment, confidence, and skills that form the foundation of an exceptional career.

About Turtle Rabbit Physical Therapy

Turtle Rabbit Physical Therapy is an integrative outpatient private practice dedicated to helping people feel better, move better, and return to the activities that matter most to them. Our founder and owner is a physical therapist with more than 30 years of experience who still practices alongside the team.

We combine manual therapy, movement analysis, therapeutic exercise, Class IV laser therapy, lymphedema treatment, and other integrative approaches with a whole-person perspective. We look beyond symptoms to understand the physical, emotional, behavioral, and lifestyle factors that can influence recovery.

📋 How You'll Make a Difference

Patient Care

• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions, complete evaluations and establish plan of care.
• Deliver individualized treatment using therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, functional activities, laser light therapy, and other directed interventions.
• Observe movement, treatment response, and functional progress and collaborate important clinical findings to the Senior Physical Therapist.
• Reinforce patient education, home programs, body mechanics, and self-management strategies.
• Earn patients' trust through compassionate care, thoughtful communication, clinical excellence, and professionalism.

Teamwork, Documentation & Clinic Operations

• Collaborate closely with the Senior Physical Therapist and clinic team and communicate clearly about patient progress and changes in status.
• Complete accurate, timely, compliant documentation while maintaining patient confidentiality and professional standards.
• Help maintain clean, organized, treatment-ready spaces and support an efficient, positive patient experience.
• Be a supportive teammate and contribute to a collaborative, respectful work environment.

 

✅ What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapist license or PTLA status in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Commitment to compassionate, individualized care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Outpatient orthopedic experience.
• Ability to build rapport and trusting patient relationships.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn through feedback, mentorship, and hands-on experience.
• Interest in manual therapy, movement analysis, Class IV laser therapy, lymphedema treatment, and integrative care.
