Boulder City Hospital is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic Rehabilitation Services team. The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments aimed at restoring function, improving mobility, and preventing or limiting permanent physical disabilities. MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Nevada.
- CPR certification (BLS) required.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Be able to bend at the waist, stand, sit, and push as part of job duties.
- Good vision and hearing are essential to perform duties safely and effectively.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician referrals.
- Administer physical therapy modalities and therapeutic exercises.
- Educate patients and families on treatment goals, home programs, and adaptive strategies.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain current knowledge and skills through ongoing education and development.
- Adhere to hospital policies and support its mission, vision, and values.
