Front Desk Studio Assistant
Tenn Little Birds and EAST Collective are looking for a friendly, organized, dependable person to join our team as a Front Desk / Studio Assistant.
Our two studios are located just across a parking lot at 805 & 819C Woodland Street in East Nashville, and this position may work interchangeably between both locations.
This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with children and families and feels comfortable in a creative, active studio environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Warmly greeting children, families, students, and visitors
- Helping families with basic class, enrollment, and schedule questions
- Checking attendance and assisting with front desk registration
- Answering phone calls
- Helping prospective families learn about our programs
- Keeping the front desk, lobby, play areas, and studios organized and welcoming
- Light opening, closing, and studio upkeep
- Supporting teachers and studio staff with day-to-day administrative needs
- Learning the programs offered at both Tenn Little Birds and EAST Collective
We’d especially love to hear from applicants with experience in:
- Early childhood or elementary-age programs (ages 0–8)
- Montessori or preschool environments
- Children’s camps or enrichment programs
- Music education or commercial music
- Musical theater / performing arts
- Music therapy
- Arts administration or studio management
General administrative and front desk experience is also welcome. You do not need to have experience in all of the areas above.
We’re looking for someone who is warm, proactive, organized, comfortable communicating with parents and children, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
Tenn Little Birds serves children from infancy through age 8 through music-based programming, while EAST Collective expands into theater, camps, performing arts, and creative education for children and adults.
Location: 805 & 819C Woodland Street, Nashville, TN
Position: Front Desk / Studio Assistant
Schedule: Part-time / Full-time, $18–20/hour, based on experience.
