Middle School Math Teacher (Temporary Leave Replacement)

Durham Nativity School is seeking a dedicated, student-centered educator for a short-term Middle School Math Teacher position (Grades 5–8). This is an excellent opportunity for a retired educator or a current graduate student looking for targeted instructional experience in a supportive learning environment.

Position Details

* Dates:September 8, 2026 – October 5, 2026 (with potential for extension)
* Teaching Load: 4 sections per day (~50 students total)
* Status: Contract / Short-term
* Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience

Ideal Candidate

* Background in middle school mathematics instruction (Grades 5–8)
* Retired teachers or graduate students in education/STEM fields preferred
* Passion for empowering young men in a mission-driven school community
