Role Description:

Job Description:

- Assist with general operation, organization, cleaning, and upkeep of Glass Lab facilities and equipment.
- Help prepare studio spaces and equipment for classes and student use.
- Monitor studio areas and promote adherence to Glass Program safety procedures.
- Assist students with basic questions regarding foundational equipment and processes.
- Assist with routine equipment maintenance, studio projects, supplies, and inventory as needed.
- Perform other general Glass Lab support duties as assigned by the Glass Program Coordinator or Glass Studio Technician.

Required Qualifications:

- Completed safety orientation and waiver for the Glass Program.
- Completion of ARTS 276 and foundational knowledge of glassworking equipment and processes.
- Good communication skills and willingness to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff.
- Ability to safely perform general studio tasks associated with the position.

Exceptions to the minimum eligibility qualifications may be granted at the sole discretion of the University.
