About the Role
Boynton Insurance Group is looking for a creative, self-motivated Videography & Social Media Intern to help bring our brand to life across digital platforms. You'll take the lead on producing original video content, managing our social media presence, and experimenting with new formats that connect with our audience. This is a hands-on opportunity to build a real portfolio while working directly with our marketing team.
 

What You'll Do

  • Film and edit short-form and long-form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, client testimonials, educational/explainer videos)
  • Plan, shoot, and edit content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook
  • Manage the social media content calendar and assist with day-to-day posting
  • Capture behind-the-scenes footage at company/community events
  • Edit raw footage into polished videos using tools like Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro
  • Add captions, graphics, motion elements, and branded templates to content
  • Track engagement metrics and help refine content strategy based on performance
  • Stay current on social media trends and suggest new content ideas/formats

What We're Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in a university program (any year, film/media/marketing background preferred)
  • Experience filming and editing video content (school projects, personal channel, or freelance work all count)
  • Familiarity with video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar)
  • Comfortable being on camera or directing others on camera
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and what makes content perform
  • Creative eye, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
  • Reliable transportation for on-site shoots (hybrid role)
