Event Assistant – Corporate Team Building

Location: Aptos, CA
Dates: October 6 & October 7, 2026
Pay: $30/hour, with a guaranteed minimum of $200 per event day
Positions Available: 3 per day

TeamWorx Team Building is looking for three energetic, dependable event assistants to help us facilitate two corporate team-building events for the same client at a resort in Aptos, CA.

These are fun, hands-on events, and we're looking for people who are comfortable working with both people and equipment. You don't need prior event or robotics experience—we will train you.

Tuesday, October 6 – Robot Build & Battle

Training: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
Lunch break: 12:00–1:30 PM
Event work: 1:30–5:00 PM

You'll be trained on our Robot Build & Battle program and learn how to assemble, operate, and troubleshoot our robot kits. During the event, you'll assist corporate participants as they build their robots, help troubleshoot basic technical issues, and assist with the robot battles.

Wednesday, October 7 – Mini Golf & Food Donation Event

Work hours: 1:30–5:30 PM
Event: 3:00–5:00 PM

You'll help our TeamWorx staff set up and facilitate a team-building activity that combines mini golf with a charitable food donation component. This event involves moving and organizing equipment and donated food, assisting participants, and helping with cleanup afterward. Some lifting and light-to-moderate manual labor will be required.

We're looking for people who are:

  • Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with corporate participants
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Comfortable learning basic technical/mechanical tasks
  • Willing and able to help move equipment and supplies
  • Able to follow directions and work as part of a small event team
  • Comfortable being on their feet for several hours

Availability for both October 6 and October 7 is strongly preferred, since both events are for the same client at the same location. However, applicants who are available for only one of the dates are welcome to apply.

The exact event location in Aptos will be provided to hired staff.
