Cicero is building the front office for law firms. We triage intake and design solutions to make law firms make decisions faster and easier. Real customers use Cicero today. The work now is to make the product faster, smarter, more reliable, and dramatically more powerful as we expand. 

This is not a role where you inherit a narrow ticket queue or wait for perfect specs. You will work directly with the founders, talk to users, make product decisions, design systems, and ship core product surfaces that become the foundation of the company.

What you will do

  • Design APIs and AI workflows for clients that scale and can be reused. 
  • Evolve the architecture as usage grows
  • Own the frontend with the engineering team and ship the changes that live there. 
  • Own large product areas from zero to one — the interface, the API, the data, and the AI behind them. Work with the founding team on the next version of the core product. 

Who you are 

  • 2+ years of full stack engineering experience (new grads are with exceptional project experience are also welcome)
  • Experience with Python, ideally FastAPI or a similar backend framework, and React. 
  • Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and experience with Supabase, Redis, or similar data infrastructure. 
  • Experience integrating LLMs into products people actually use, not just chat demos. 
  • Familiarity with production observability using Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent tools. 
  • Evidence that you learn fast: projects, papers, repos, demos, launches, or unusually hard problems you have solved.

Compensation: $250K–$350K (cash + equity), depending on experience and stage fit.
