ESGreLab is partnering with Outcome to explore one of the most important questions facing the real estate industry:

What happens when AI moves beyond the chatbot and becomes part of the operating layer of a real estate business?

ABOUT Outcome

Outcome has built an AI-enabled workflow and data intelligence platform specifically for real estate. The platform connects fragmented data, automates workflows and turns information into actionable intelligence, reports and outcomes. It is designed to work with the way real estate companies actually operate (including documents, spreadsheets, scanned files, legacy-system exports and other unstructured data).

Outcome was founded by real estate and technology veterans including founders with multiple exists and ventures. The company launched publicly in 2025 with a focus on making AI practical and usable for commercial real estate rather than simply adding another AI interface to existing software.

Outcome already works with leading real estate organizations, including CBRE, Brookfield, Jadian Capital, and several mid-market real estate firms actively seeking operating leverage from AI.Its platform is being applied across areas such as property management, asset management, investment and acquisitions, accounting and finance, and leasing.

ABOUT ESGreLab

ESGreLab (Entrepreneurship – Students – Growth) is an education think tank connecting students with companies, entrepreneurs and real-world projects. We work with students across universities in the US and internationally, creating team-based internships that give students the opportunity to work on real business questions rather than simply observe from the sidelines. Our internships are deliberately open-ended, bringing together students from different schools, faculties and backgrounds to research, explore and solve problems as a team. This internship with Outcome is another opportunity for students to work directly at the intersection of real estate, technology and AI.

THE INTERNSHIP

This is not a traditional internship with a fixed job description. It is an open-ended exploration of real estate, data, technology and AI.

Working in teams across the continental United States, students will investigate two specific real estate verticals:

1. Cold Storage

2. Student Housing

The objective is to understand how these sectors actually operate, what information and data they rely on, where important data gaps exist, and where AI and automation could potentially change the way work gets done.

You will be asking questions such as:

• What data does the industry currently collect?
• Where does that data live?
• What information is difficult to access or connect?
• What processes are still highly manual?
• Where are companies relying on spreadsheets, PDFs, emails or fragmented systems?
• What information is missing when important decisions are being made?
• What could be automated?
• What could AI make possible that is difficult or impossible today?
• Where are the biggest opportunities for better data and better decision-making?

There will not be a single predetermined answer. More will be revealed once the internship begins.

REAL WORK. REAL INDUSTRY. REAL QUESTIONS.

This is an opportunity to work on a live exploration connected to a real technology company and a real industry. You will not simply be given a list of articles to read or a predefined research assignment.

Teams will be expected to explore, analyse, find information, Understand the sector, Compare companies, Look for patterns, Identify gaps, Question assumptions, And try to work out what the future could look like.

Outcome will be involved periodically throughout the internship, joining selected calls and discussions and helping students understand how the research connects to the real-world development and deployment of AI in real estate.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

This internship is open to students from all faculties and academic backgrounds.

You do not need to study real estate.You do not need to be a computer science student.You do not need to be an AI expert.You do not need to know how to code.

What matters most is curiosity.

HOW WE WORK

The internship is 100% remote. Students will work in teams made up of students from different universities and locations across the continental United States.

The teams will research, discuss, challenge and develop their findings together.

ESGreLab will manage and operate the internship, including student applications, selection, team formation, meetings and the overall program.

Outcome will be our industry partner and will participate periodically throughout the internship.

Internship starts: October 1, 2026

Initial duration: 4+ months

The internship is intentionally open-ended. The exact direction of the work will develop as teams learn more about the two sectors and begin identifying opportunities.

It also remains heavily dependent on fragmented information, manual processes and legacy systems.

AI is beginning to change that.

“What could real estate look like if the industry finally had access to the right data, connected in the right way, with AI operating across the workflow?”
