4/5 Math & Social Studies Teacher

Birch Agency is seeking a passionate and dedicated 4th & 5th Grade Math & Social Studies Teacher to join a K–8 public charter school in Cleveland, Ohio.

What You'll Do

• Teach engaging 4th and 5th grade Math and Social Studies lessons aligned with Ohio learning standards.




• Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.




• Develop differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.




• Use creative and engaging teaching strategies to keep students motivated.




• Monitor student progress and use assessment data to guide instruction.




• Provide additional support and intervention when needed.




• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, support staff, and families.




• Maintain accurate student records and instructional documentation.




• Encourage students to develop strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.




• Support students' academic, social, and personal development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field.




• Valid Ohio teaching license/certification appropriate for the position.




• Elementary teaching experience preferred.




• Experience teaching Math and/or Social Studies preferred.




• Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
