Long-Term Substitute School Counselor - High School

The Mt. Lebanon School District has immediate needs for two Long-Term Substitute School Counselors at Mt. Lebanon High School.
These are full-time, on-site, temporary assignments:
- September through October 30, 2026
- September through January 14, 2027
Due to the lengths of the assignments, these positions will be eligible for the degree level daily rate at step 1 of the teachers' salary schedule with rates starting at $297 per day depending upon credential.
*Employment for the September through October assignment must commence by 09/28/26 to be eligible for degree level daily rate.
These positions are not be eligible for paid time off or district subsidized health benefits.
Required: Active Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education in School Counseling that is inclusive of Grades 9-12.

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
In order to be eligible for employment, the following clearances must be furnished and approved for hire at time of job offer:
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34)
- FBI Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114)
The following additional trainings and forms are required upon hire:
- Act 126 Child/Student Abuse Recognition and Reporting
- Arrest or Conviction Form (PDE 6004) (Act 24)
- School Personnel Health Record (Physical with TB Test)
- Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Information (Act 168)
