BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – $60–$67/hr W-2 + Paid Drive Time

Brighter Days ABA is growing, and we’re looking for an energetic, personable, and motivated BCBA to join our team in the Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg area!

We are a small, BCBA-owned ABA practice focused on providing individualized, high-quality services where our clients actually live, learn, and interact. This is not a clinic-based position. Services are provided directly in school, home, and community settings, giving our BCBAs the opportunity to work on meaningful, real-world skills in the environments where they matter most.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being involved with their clients—not someone who wants to spend the entire day behind a laptop. The ideal candidate is energetic, creative, comfortable getting involved in activities with clients, and able to make ABA engaging while still providing ethical, evidence-based treatment.

Compensation & Position

• $60–$67/hour for clinical/billable services, based on experience and qualifications
• $35/hour for required non-billable/administrative work
• $24/hour paid drive time between client locations
• W-2 employee
• Part-time or full-time opportunities

What You'll Be Doing

BCBAs provide services directly in schools, clients' homes, and community settings throughout the Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg area.

Responsibilities include direct ABA services and protocol modification, caregiver training, treatment-plan implementation and modification, data collection and analysis, skill acquisition and behavior-reduction programming, collaboration with caregivers and other professionals, and timely completion of clinical documentation.

You'll also have opportunities to work on skills where they naturally occur—whether that's navigating a school environment, developing social skills with peers, increasing independence at home, or practicing functional skills in the community.

Our current caseload primarily consists of TRICARE beneficiaries, so familiarity with TRICARE's Autism Care Demonstration is a plus, but TRICARE experience is not required.

Required Qualifications

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
• Master's degree or higher in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
• BCBA certification in good standing
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to travel between client locations
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening
• CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience working with children and adolescents with autism in school, home, and/or community settings is preferred.
