As a Youth Soccer Coach, you will be responsible for coaching children of various ages, creating engaging practices, and ensuring a safe, fun experience for all participants. Responsibilities
- Plan and execute age-appropriate soccer practices that emphasize skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Lead youth soccer games and activities with enthusiasm, ensuring all participants are engaged and motivated
- Foster a positive team environment by encouraging good behavior, communication, and respect among players
- Monitor safety during practices and games, adhering to all safety protocols including AED operation and first aid procedures
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about player progress, upcoming events, and program updates
- Maintain equipment and field setup to ensure a safe playing environment
- Incorporate sports-specific training instruction such as dribbling, passing, shooting techniques, and tactical understanding
Experience
- Prior coaching experience in soccer or other sports such as Soccer, basketball
- Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings is highly valued
- Knowledge of sports coaching techniques and behavior management strategies
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
Coaching Locations are varied: San Jose, Palo Alto, Fremont, Milpitas, Los Gatos, Santa Clara and vicinnity area depending on Candidate's perferred location.
