Undergraduate Research Assistant
Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Undergraduate Research Assistant to support ongoing research projects. This position provides an opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in applied research, data-informed decision-making, program evaluation, and knowledge translation.
The Undergraduate Research Assistant will work closely with evaluation personnel to support project implementation, organize and summarize information, assist with data-related activities, and develop informational resources that communicate research findings to a variety of audiences.
Expected Responsibilities:
- Assist with literature reviews.
- Organize, summarize, and synthesize research findings.
- Support data collection, data entry, and data management activities.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and research summaries.
- Develop informational materials, fact sheets, infographics, and other resources based on research findings.
- Help maintain project documentation and research records.
- Participate in research team meetings and contribute to project discussions.
- Assist with dissemination activities and stakeholder communications as needed.
- Perform other research-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current UNI student enrolled in a relevent field, such as:
- Family Services
- Social Work
- Public Health
- Human Services
- Psychology
- Education
- Statistics
- Communications
- Related disciplines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
