Marketing Intern
Marketing Intern for Luxury Hifi Retail Boutique
Blink High End | Cambridge, Massachusetts | On-site | Part-Time, 20 hours/week
The role
Blink High End is a luxury hi-fi audio retail boutique. We carry some of the finest audio equipment in the world — turntables, amplifiers, speakers, and headphones from brands that audiophiles actually care about. We're looking for mid-to-upper semester college students who are sharp, motivated, and genuinely driven to learn and do excellent work.
This isn't a coffee-and-spreadsheets internship. You'll work closely with our small team on real marketing projects that affect how we show up online, in our community, and in front of customers who take their listening seriously.
What you'll do
- Help plan and execute social media content across Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms - Write product descriptions, email newsletters, and promotional copy with a clean, informed voice - Research competitors, trends, and luxury retail marketing strategies - Assist with in-store events, listening sessions, and brand activations - Support photo and video content shoots for products and the store environment - Track campaign performance and pull together basic analytics reports - Pitch ideas — if you have a take on how we should be talking to customers, say so
About you
- Currently enrolled in a college or university, junior year or above preferred - Studying marketing, communications, business, advertising, or a related field - Genuinely curious about brands, storytelling, and what makes people buy - Comfortable writing — not perfectly, but clearly and with your own voice - Familiar with social media platforms from a content perspective, not just a user perspective - Detail-oriented without being slow about it
Nice to have
- Interest in audio, music, or luxury consumer goods - Experience with Canva, Adobe tools, or basic video editing - Any prior internship or project work in a marketing or creative context
What we offer
- Hands-on experience inside a specialty luxury retail environment - Direct mentorship from the store's leadership team - Exposure to high-end brand partnerships and marketing - A workspace that sounds really, really good and access to world-class marketing material and training.
This internship position is paid and on-site, work days flexible between Monday to Friday. We are looking for someone who can work 20 to 30hrs a week, between 9 and 6pm for at least 3 months, but better if it can be for longer.
If you love audio reproduction technology and music, and wish to learn real life skills on product sales and marketing, we are going to be a great match!
Team members enjoy outstanding free marketing training, reduced fee access to our music training and may be offered longer-term positions.
