About the Role

A well-regarded, 70-bed Memory Care community in San Juan Capistrano is looking for a Community Relations Director to lead its sales and outreach efforts. This community has built a strong reputation in South Orange County — earning "Best Memory Care" honors in both 2024 and 2025 — and they need someone who brings the same level of care and professionalism to every family conversation.

This is a relationship-driven role. You won't be cold-calling strangers or pushing product features. You'll be working with families navigating one of the most difficult decisions of their lives, guiding them with honesty, patience, and expertise.

What you'll do

- Own the full sales cycle: from first inquiry through move-in, with a focus on building and nurturing a professional referral network across South Orange County.- Conduct consultative family conversations — in person, by phone, and through follow-up — that are empathetic, thorough, and genuinely helpful.- Manage and grow a pipeline of referral partners (physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, elder law attorneys, financial advisors) using a modern CRM platform.- Track all activity, follow-ups, and outcomes in the CRM to maintain a clean, actionable pipeline.- Represent the community at local events, networking meetings, and partner outreach — building the brand through trust, not transactions.- Report on census, move-in activity, and pipeline progress to leadership.- Collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth transitions for incoming residents and their families.

What we're looking for

- Proven track record in senior living, memory care, or healthcare sales — you understand the emotional weight of these decisions.- Strong relationship-builder who knows how to work a referral network over time, not just in the moment.- Comfortable with consultative, emotionally intelligent sales conversations with families in crisis or transition.- Experience with CRM tools to manage a professional pipeline.- Self-starter who can work independently and stay motivated through longer sales cycles.- Familiarity with the South Orange County market is a plus.

Nice to have

- Background specifically in Memory Care or Alzheimer's/dementia care environments.- Existing referral relationships in the San Juan Capistrano or broader South OC area.- Experience with occupancy-based incentive structures.

Compensation & What's on Offer
