We are seeking an experienced Program Evaluation Lead to oversee evaluation, data collection, and quality improvement strategies across public health informatics and surveillance initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with leadership to design and execute outcome-tracking frameworks, maintain data collection protocols, and translate analytical findings into actionable quality improvement plans.

 

Job Details

  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (local residency or nearby commuting distance required; regular onsite presence in Nashville, TN)
  • Engagement Type: Contract
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST)

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluation & Data Strategy: Collaborate with management to build and implement robust evaluation plans, quality improvement tools, and outcome-tracking metrics.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Analyze complex public health data sets, conduct comparative analyses, and produce routine monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for senior management to assist with program evaluation and data interpretation.
  • Data Integrity & Protocol Oversight: Perform routine audits to verify data integrity, troubleshoot data entry issues with program staff, and update data collection procedure manuals.
  • Program Leadership & Training: Coordinate evaluation and data collection responsibilities across teams. Train and onboard new personnel on program evaluation methods, metrics, and best practices.
  • Continuous Quality Improvement: Work with internal and external project stakeholders—including academic and regulatory partners, to foster a culture of data-informed quality improvement.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience in public health, community development, or a closely related field.
  • Evaluation Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience designing and executing evaluation strategies (e.g., surveys, focus groups, stakeholder interviews).
  • Data & Analytics: Minimum 3 years of experience managing complex data collection, performing data analyses, and generating executive-level reports.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency across standard office platforms, data entry systems, and spreadsheet tools for data synthesis.
  • Core Competencies: Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without formal authority, manage multiple deadlines with high attention to detail, handle sensitive or confidential information appropriately, and communicate effectively with diverse technical and non-technical teams.
