We are seeking a proactive, forward-thinking intern to join our New York office. In this role, you will help keep our fast-paced physical office running smoothly while bridging the gap between prestigious traditional production and the bleeding edge of tech.

The Internship

In this position, you will serve as a crucial backbone to our NYC operations while supporting our executive producers and sales team. You will balance day-to-day office management along with a specialized focus on testing and implementing AI tools into our daily workflow.

Your Responsibilities

Operations & Office Support:

• Operations Support: Support the backbone of our office operations. You will help the team by managing daily shipping and receiving, restocking supplies, organizing internal operational files, and learning the ins and outs of how a high-end commercial production office operates.
• Logistical Support: Assist the Operations team with tracking merchandise, managing expenses, and coordinating schedules for visiting directors and executives.

AI & Production:

• AI-Assisted Pitching: Utilize generative AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, Sora, ElevenLabs) to help generate high-level storyboards, mood boards, and concept art that bring our directors' treatments to life.
• Tech Exploration & Reporting: Research and present weekly insights to the executive team on the latest developments in AI video, audio, and VFX technologies, analyzing how these tools can specifically benefit SMUGGLER's roster of directors.
• Data Management: Act as the central hub for our internal databases. You will track our ongoing AI research, log tests of new generative tools, and be up to date on the latest AI news.
