Growth Marketing Coordinator
Growth Marketing Coordinator
Reports to: Emily Claypool, with day-to-day management by Fe Garcia
Location: Birmingham, AL (Venture Yards, 2127 Morris Ave.)
Type: Full-time
About the role
Harmony Venture Labs is an AI-forward venture studio (Birmingham, AL) that builds, launches, and scales startups from idea to exit. We're hiring a Growth Marketing Coordinator to execute the studio's growth work hands-on, across our own brand, our Studio companies, and our corporate innovation portfolio. You'll use the latest tools to uncover insights, make room for your own creativity, and move faster than a traditional entry-level marketing job. Our team moves fast and stays lean, so the right person is as comfortable using an AI workflow to draft a blog post as staging an email sequence, shipping a small website change, or running an agentic routine to streamline marketing operations.
What you'll do
Execute across every channel
- Write and publish content built for both search and AI-answer visibility (AEO).
- Build social posts, carousels, and reels for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn: copy, graphics, and video edits, from start to finish.
- Build and run email campaigns: launches, onboarding sequences, newsletters, and lifecycle nurtures.
- Ship website changes: landing page updates, CTA fixes, copy edits, through a branch-to-PR workflow, reviewed before anything goes live.
- Support product feature launches via blog, email, social, video, and landing pages, coordinated with the founder and growth team.
- Build and manage event logistics for webinars and live events.
- Support video, audio, and live event marketing campaigns to drive growth.
Use AI across all aspects of work
- Build and run LLM-based routines for repeatable work (outreach drafts, content drafts, reporting), and flag new repeatable tasks worth automating.
- Use AI tooling directly against real systems (Sanity, MailerLite, GitHub, etc.) instead of drafting in a doc and handing off.
- Keep pages findable and accurate: SEO fixes, sitemap/llms.txt updates, and sweeps of third-party and AI-cited sources for wrong pricing or positioning.
Where this role can grow
Our growth team is scaling, and this role scales with it over time and as expertise is earned and demonstrated. This could mean owning a program's content calendar, taking dedicated marketing ownership of a current GTM product as it scales, or being a marketer on a new venture as it spins out of the studio.
What we're looking for
- 1-2 years of experience, or a strong internship/freelance track record; this is an entry-level seat for someone early in their career.
- A generalist with hands-on experience across content, email/lifecycle, and web, rather than a single specialty.
- Clear, persuasive writing: you can draft a blog post or an email sequence that sounds like a person, not a template.
- Comfortable with design and editing tools
- Already using AI tools daily in your own workflow: you think in terms of what can be automated, not just written faster.
- Organized enough to run multiple workstreams across multiple companies at once.
- A growth mindset and focus on problem solving using creative thinking.
Nice to have
- Some exposure to a CMS (WordPress, Frase, etc.) or comfort submitting pull requests.
- Basic SEO/AEO literacy: what makes a page rank, what makes an AI model cite it.
- Interest in brand strategy or go-to-market thinking, if you want to grow into a more strategic scope over time.
- Familiarity with Claude Code and/or Codex.
- Experience working in a startup environment.
