Associated Students Office Assistant

We are looking for UCSB students to fill the Office Assistant position currently vacant in the Associated Students Main, Administration, and Annex offices starting Fall 2017.

The position of Office Assistant is a significant part of the everyday operations of Associated Students as they are the first person of contact when visiting our office.  Therefore, we are in search of a student that:
  • has familiarity of working with heavy, constant phone traffic
  • has the ability to communicate through written and verbal modes of communication
  • excellent organizational skills
  • and the ability to adapt to fluctuations and interruptions in daily work routine
As an Office Assistant, you will have the opportunity to gain knowledge of the policies and activities of Associated Students.  In addition, you will gain experience in office skills, such as data entry, filing, email, fax, and proper phone etiquette. 

*Associated Students accepts work study and non-work study applications.
*Knowledge of minute-taking is a plus, but not required
*Must be a registered undergrad UCSB student
