Position Overview
GEO Academies is seeking a Student Success Operations Specialist to help coordinate the administrative and operational activities that support students throughout their educational experience.
This position is well suited for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with student information, internal teams, schedules, and digital systems. The Specialist will help ensure that student-support processes are organized, timely, and accurately documented.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to monitor administrative workflows, maintain accurate records, coordinate follow-up activities, and help identify opportunities to improve the student experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate day-to-day operational activities connected to student-support programs.
* Maintain accurate student records and update information within approved systems.
* Monitor assigned student-support workflows and follow up on outstanding items.
* Assist staff with coordinating appointments, meetings, communications, and student-related activities.
* Prepare routine reports, spreadsheets, summaries, and status updates for internal teams.
* Review information for completeness and escalate discrepancies when necessary.
* Help coordinate communication between student-support personnel and other internal departments.
* Track deadlines, action items, referrals, and follow-up activities.
* Assist with organizing student resources, forms, and program documentation.
* Respond to routine questions and direct more complex matters to the appropriate team member.
* Support the implementation of operational procedures designed to improve student services.
* Maintain confidentiality when handling student and organizational information.
* Identify recurring administrative issues and recommend practical process improvements.
* Participate in virtual meetings, training sessions, and team projects.
* Perform other duties related to student-success operations as assigned.
Required Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* At least 1 year of experience in administration, education support, customer service, student services, operations, or a related area.
* Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
* Strong attention to detail when handling records and documentation.
* Ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
* Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
* Ability to learn new databases, student information systems, and internal software.
Preferred Qualifications
* Associate or bachelor’s degree in education, business administration, communications, human services, or a related field.
* Experience working in a school, nonprofit, education, student-services, or community-based organization.
* Experience working with student information systems or case-management platforms.
* Experience preparing operational reports or maintaining structured databases.
* Familiarity with remote collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom.

Work Environment
This is a fully remote position. The employee will work primarily from a home office and communicate with colleagues through email, video meetings, messaging platforms, and other approved digital systems.
Because the position supports time-sensitive student operations, employees are expected to maintain reliable availability during their scheduled work hours and respond to work-related communications in a timely manner.
Compensation
$28.00–$34.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, relevant experience, and position requirements.
