The Management Consulting Team at Teneo

Our Management Consulting division focuses on answering key strategic questions for business leaders through our mix of senior experience and rigorous analysis, combined with the unique expertise that exists across Teneo. We operate across a diverse array of sectors including Consumer Goods, Healthcare, Leisure & Hospitality, Software, Transport, and TMT, amongst others. Within these markets, we provide strategic, operational, and due diligence support, advising reputable Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 firms, key public-sector organizations, and leading private equity houses.

Associate Consultants will gain broad exposure to different industries as well as project types and have the opportunity to contribute to the team outside of normal casework. You will work as part of project teams to help clients address critical business challenges.

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with project leaders and team members to address client questions within the broader context of each engagement
  • Use a hypothesis-driven approach to structure problems, analyze data, conduct research, and develop clear, actionable insights
  • Translate research and analysis into compelling client-ready materials, including slides, presentations, and other deliverables tailored to specific audiences
  • Contribute to client and internal meetings, workshops, and presentations by helping shape discussion materials and communicate findings effectively
  • Collaborate with colleagues and experts across Teneo to bring integrated perspectives to clients and identify opportunities to expand involvement
  • Support proposal development and broader Management Consulting team priorities, including initiatives such as recruiting or knowledge management

 

Qualifications

  • Currently in senior year of an undergraduate degree, with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027
  • Outstanding academic record, complemented by leadership experience through prior work, internships, or extracurricular involvement
  • Strong analytical, logical, and numerical skills, with the ability to structure problems, evaluate information, and develop thoughtful recommendations
  • Intellectual curiosity and an entrepreneurial mindset, with the confidence to ask relevant questions, challenge thinking constructively, and contribute actively to team discussions
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and build credibility with colleagues and clients
  • Collaborative team player with strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to take initiative while knowing when to seek guidance
  • Strong work ethic and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, project-based environment
  • Proficiency with core Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Base Salary Range

$98,000

Bonus Eligible

Yes

Total Compensation Package

Includes annualized bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage, and a broad range of additional benefits and rewards.

Hybrid Flexible Work Policy

Teneo believes in in-person collaboration when possible. If you are assigned to the New York office, the company expectation is for employees to work from the office location a minimum of three times a week.
