Load Planning Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Load Planning Analyst to support daily transportation, logistics, and shipment planning operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and organizational skills, be comfortable working with transportation management systems, and be able to communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Combine and optimize shipments to build efficient transportation loads.
• Schedule delivery appointments with customers and coordinate shipment requirements.
• Monitor daily transportation operations and address issues, delays, and escalations as they arise.
• Evaluate shipment weight, volume, delivery requirements, and other operational conditions to ensure loads meet applicable transportation and delivery requirements.
• Use a Transportation Management System (TMS) on a daily basis to plan and manage loads.
• Coordinate closely with Order Management and Warehouse Operations teams.
• Analyze transportation and operational data to support planning and decision-making.
• Prepare and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Provide operational support during weekends or holidays when business needs require.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with TMS or other transportation/logistics management platforms preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of SQL (MS SQL Server or Oracle) preferred.
• Experience with Tableau or other data visualization/BI tools preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Korean language proficiency is preferred to support communication with Korean-speaking colleagues, customers, or business partners.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Availability to provide occasional weekend or holiday support based on operational requirements.
