SECS Micro-Intern: Academic Research

Position is part of the Micro-internship program in the School of Engineering and Computer Science

Must be Freshman or Sophomore Standing

  • The role will include a research project in the Mechanical Engineering Department.
  • This project will develop a 3D real-time virtual experimentation platform for a Series Electric-Hydraulic Hybrid Vehicle (SEHHV) using Raspberry Pi and MATLAB/Simscape. 
  • The student will integrate an existing vehicle simulation model with interactive hardware and 3D visualization to create a hands-on platform for demonstrating vehicle operation, energy management, and control.

Duration: 40 hours
