Are you a Junior or Senior graduating in 2027 or 2028 looking to gain meaningful experience before graduation?

At Northwestern Mutual, you'll gain real-world experience running your own business while still in college. This is not a typical internship. You'll work with real clients, build a professional network, and develop skills that directly impact your future.

This opportunity is based out of our Southern Wisconsin Network, including locations such as Delafield, Janesville, Paddock Lake, Middleton, WI and Rockford, IL. Candidates must live within a commutable distance of Delafield, Janesville, Paddock Lake, Middleton, WI OR Rockford, IL. throughout the internship.

What You'll Do

• Build and grow your own client base through networking and relationship building
• Meet with clients to understand their financial goals and priorities
• Create personalized financial plans and recommendations
• Develop and execute your own business strategy
• Train weekly with experienced mentors and leaders
• Earn your Life and Health Insurance licenses
• Attend an in-person training week prior to the internship
• Gain exposure to both insurance and investment planning

Who We're Looking For

• Graduating in Winter 2027, Spring 2028, Winter 2028, or Spring 2029
• Living within a commutable distance of Delafield, Wisconsin
• Active on campus through athletics, clubs, leadership positions, or other organizations
• Interested in business, sales, entrepreneurship, financial planning, or wealth management
• Strong work ethic and time management skills
• Coachable, motivated, and eager to grow professionally
