DATA ENGINEER – 4+ YEARS EXPERIENCE

Job Title: Data Engineer
Experience: 4+ Years
Location: Houston, TX 
Employment Type: Full-Time

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong experience with Python and SQL
• Experience developing ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with Apache Spark / PySpark
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling
• Experience with AWS S3, Glue, Lambda, and Redshift
• Experience with Databricks is preferred
• Knowledge of Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools
• Experience working with large datasets
• Strong SQL skills including joins, stored procedures, and query optimization
• Experience with Git and CI/CD
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows
• Develop data transformation processes using Python and PySpark
• Work with cloud-based data platforms and data warehouses
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and security
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Developers, and Business teams
