About the Role
ValorTech is looking for a curious, creative, and dependable Part-Time Digital Marketing Coordinator / Intern to support a growing range of marketing projects.
This role is ideal for a student, recent graduate, or early-career marketer who wants to build a meaningful portfolio, gain hands-on experience, and learn how digital marketing work is planned, created, published, measured, and improved.
The person in this position will assist with social media, website updates, landing pages, content creation, email marketing, photography, video editing, and marketing technology.
Applicants do not need experience in every area listed below. Training, guidance, templates, and ongoing mentorship will be provided. We are primarily looking for someone who is organized, eager to learn, comfortable working with digital tools, and excited to create real work that can strengthen their resume and portfolio.
Responsibilities
The Digital Marketing Coordinator / Intern may assist with:
- Drafting, formatting, scheduling, and publishing social media posts
- Creating simple branded graphics using Canva or similar tools
- Updating website pages, blogs, images, and calls to action
- Assisting with the creation of landing pages and campaign pages
- Formatting and publishing blog content
- Supporting email newsletter creation and distribution
- Learning and using HubSpot for social publishing, email, contact management, and reporting
- Assisting with basic CRM organization and data cleanup
- Taking and organizing photos and short-form video
- Editing photos and videos for websites, social media, and marketing campaigns
- Repurposing content across websites, email, and social platforms
- Conducting basic topic, competitor, keyword, and content research
- Helping maintain marketing calendars, project lists, and digital assets
- Reviewing websites and marketing materials for formatting issues, broken links, and outdated information
- Assisting with campaign reporting and basic performance tracking
- Supporting special projects for ValorTech, affiliated organizations, and Digital Services clients
- Completing other repeatable marketing tasks as processes and needs develop

- Capable of working independently after receiving instruction
- Interested in building a professional portfolio and expanding their skills
Experience
Experience in all areas is not required.
Coursework, personal projects, student organizations, freelance work, volunteer work, or experience with any of the following would be helpful:
- Social media content
- Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud
- Photography or video editing
- Website builders or content-management systems
- HubSpot or another CRM
- Email marketing
- Copywriting or blogging
- Google Analytics
- Search engine optimization
- Microsoft 365
- Project-management tools
Applicants are encouraged to provide examples of school, personal, freelance, volunteer, or professional work, but a formal portfolio is not required.

Schedule
This is a part-time role requiring approximately 15–24 hours per week.
The specific schedule can be coordinated around school or other commitments, but the successful candidate should have reliable availability during normal business hours.
