Responsibilities:
- Independently conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate and characterize biologic and synthetic implantable materials.
- Utilize advanced instrumentation such as DSC, SEM, and Instron for mechanical and biomaterial testing.
- Document, analyze, and interpret experimental data with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Collaborate closely with senior scientists and cross-functional teams to modify experimental studies as needed.
- Maintain thorough project documentation and present summarized research findings to project leads.
Qualifications:
Required:
- BS in Material Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- 1+ years of hands-on laboratory experience (academic lab experience for recent graduates or industry experience).
- Familiarity with biomaterial characterization techniques and testing instruments (e.g., DSC, SEM, Instron).
- Proven ability to learn new technical concepts and scientific skills quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in MS Office.
