Location: Northwest Arkansas (varies by event)
Compensation: Hourly, paid — rate depends on event location, time, and type. Can also be arranged as volunteer hours if you need them to fulfill a graduation requirement.
About the role
Interested in the fast-paced, fun world of events? AVE is always looking for hands-on support on event days — and this is the best way to find out first-hand whether a career in events is for you. You'll work alongside our team as events come together in real time, seeing how a space transforms and how the details we obsess over actually play out on the event day.
What you'll do
You'll be part of the crew that makes the day run: setting up and styling the space, helping with décor and layout, greeting and directing guests, keeping things tidy and on-schedule during the event, and breaking down at the end. Every event is a little different, so no two shifts look exactly alike.
What we're looking for
We want people who are dependable, positive, and happy to jump in wherever they're needed. You should be comfortable in a busy environment, quick to solve small problems as they come up, and genuinely excited about events. No prior experience required — just a great attitude and a willingness to learn.

Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Ability to be on your feet for the full shift (most shifts are 4–5 hours)
- Reliable transportation to event locations across Northwest Arkansas
- Availability on evenings and weekends, when most events happen
